Havoc (Tattoos & Ties 1) was definitely a certified re-read; now Order (Tattoos & Ties 2) joins the list. Have you ever had a book that you want to read so badly, but hesitate because you know once you read it, there will be no more? So silly, I know! But I get attached to characters sometimes, and it is hard to let them go. I was afraid to let Alec and Keyes go. They were so intense together. Regardless, I girded my loins and dove in because I had to find out what was going to happen to their relationship!
If you read my previous post about the first book, Havoc, you know that Kindle staged this book in the local DFW area, so I get a kick out of trying to imagine these characters roaming around in the neighborhoods that I recognize. I almost expected to see Alec rolling by in his fancy sports car, or hear the rumble of Keyes’s motorcycle engine.
There is something so energizing about the attraction of opposite personalities: Alec, the privileged and wealthy Assistant District Attorney, and Keyes, the uber-hot tattooed biker and tire shop owner. These two men are so good together, yet they had to fight the expectations of their circumstances to be with each other. Their chemistry is practically volcanic, and every scene with these two is extra hot. I loved every minute of it, and will love it again when I reread it again and again.
