Dark romances have a special place on my bookshelf. They are not for everyone, but if you’re into books about unconventional love, then this is the genre for you. K.A. Merikan has found their romance niche exploring these darker themes. Daddy’s Forbidden Room explores domination and sex. Lots and lots of sex.

Kevin is the young, inexperienced virgin who meets sexy older Daddy to take his cherry for a price. Not a bad deal for Kevin, especially since his alternative was living on the streets or couch surfing with friends after his parents kicked him out for coming out as gay.

What starts out as a money exchange transforms into something else. Sandro demands total control of Kevin, and for the time that Kevin has agreed to be with Sandro, he has no access to the outside world. He is sequestered in isolation on Sandro’s island home.

However, there is this one door that Kevin has been warned NOT TO TOUCH. And for the most part, Kevin does comply with Sandro’s wishes because he wants to stay. His Daddy is good to him. He is taken care of. What does he have to gain by not following the rules?

Sandro has a secret, and things go south when the secret invades his home and attacks Kevin. Violence ensues. Sweet tender romance, this is not.

This book was AMAZING! Good short read. Hot, sexy, and even poignant at times. Wow.

Dark, mysterious Sandro and sweet, twink Kevin were a steamy couple.

Their chemistry was very hot. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, and I devoured it in one sitting.

Fans of dark romance will not be disappointed.
