The Trouble With Trevor – Spanking good time

I was intrigued to read this book – the first in a series – when I ran across the Twitter feed of its author: Cin Forrester. The Trouble With Trevor – book 1 of the Off Limits series – a book that burns hot and fast, like an out-of-control fire. 

I picked up the book and was not able to put it down. It is all the good things that erotic romance should be: racy, hot, taboo, and kinky, kinky, kinky.

It was also funny at times. Which was unexpected. The story sort of jumps right into the action. No preamble, and we are deep into the action (pun intended) as Grady, the hot older alpha male, is getting it on with a random hookup to keep his hands off Trevor.

The story builds as Trevor manages to get Grady to punish him with spankings. It’s not a BDSM story in the strictest sense since Trevor is a virgin and doesn’t really know what he wants, just that he wants it. And what he discovers he wants is to get spanked by Grady.

Grady is a Marine veteran and an amputee – he lost his foot in Afghanistan. But it doesn’t stop him from being everything that Trevor wants. They are attracted to each other, but Trevor is young and the son of Grady’s friend from the military. So Grady is conflicted because physically he is attracted, even if he knows he shouldn’t give into the attraction.

Mentally, he is conflicted because of Trevor’s age, who he is, and that his well-being was entrusted to him when he was made Trevor’s guardian as he attends Harvard.

I am VERY interested to see where the story is going to go. I am ready to read book 2 – The Problem With Grady. Lucky I just discovered this series, as I would have hated to wait to read the next book if I had read it as it was just being released!
